All things Circular!

Good morning, its Vanessa here to set this weeks dare. But firstly, we'd all like to thank everyone who took part in Rein's fish/frog dare and what a vast array of fabulous fishy and froggy creations to admire. :)

This week, the title says it all - I want to see lots of circles, you can decide how you use them, whether it be the shape of your card or how you display circular elements within the design and thats it, nice and simple (I hope :-)).
We'd love to pop along to see your creations, so please pop a link in the comments section below and in the meantime, here are some DT examples :-

fish and/or frog

Hello all,

Thanks for all the green gorgeousness of last week - all the cards were wonderful and showed what a versatile colour green can be.

It's Rein here this week with a new dare:

I want to see a fish or a frog on your cards.

Apart from that, it's all up to you what you make!

Feeling green

Happy Friday the 13th! It's Jozza here to set the next dare. First of all we'd like to thank everyone who took part in Sue's oriental dare. What fab cards you all made and it's great to see the different colours as it is so easy to stick to red and black when doing oriental. It was indeed a very tricky dare (well I thought it was anyway) so this week I'm going easy on you!

The dare is feeling green. I want to see lots of green on your cards in any shade you like. You could even do a double dare and make a green themed get well card. It's up to you. We can't wait to see what you come up with, and in the meantime here are some cards the DT have made for inspiration.

Oriental Splendour

By way of thanking everyone who took part in Lythan’s Paper Passion Dare last week and for sharing all your wonderful cards with us, I (Sue) thought I would treat you all to a Chinese Take Away, if you’re up for it.

No, I’m not talking about food……I’m talking about my dare!

Oriental Splendour

I would like you to make a card with an Oriental influence and the ‘Take Away’ I referred to is the twist in the tail.

When ever Oriental is mentioned most people, including myself immediately reach for Red and Black so I’m taking them away from you and removing them from the pallet of colours that you can use on your card.

So to recap:-

I dare you to make an Oriental themed card which doesn’t use Red or Black.

When you’ve finished your card don’t forget to leave us a comment so we can come and see your creations and remember, if you don’t have a blog you can still play along.
Email your card to daringcardmakers@hotmail.co.uk and we will pop it on the gallery and we look forward to seeing all your creations

Here are some cards from the team to help get your creative juices flowing and we all look forward to seeing your creations.

Have Fun!
